Puebla

Unfortunately there is "always one" and it turned out to be the person I'd had reservations about from the start.  At breakfast this morning she launched an unpleasant and totally unwarranted attack on us regarding seating arrangements on the bus, completely twisting a conversation I'd had with her on day 1.  It was extremely upsetting and so we decided the best course of action to minimise any effect on the group was to keep our opinions of her to ourselves and just completely ignore her for the rest of the holiday.

Puebla Cathedral in daylight.

Puebla is the 5th largest city in Mexico and known for its many churches as these rooftop images show.

We then had a walking tour of the area near the hotel.  There were lots of rather ornate buildings.

These look a bit like prayer flags but don't have any writing on them - they're more like plastic doilies

Phone boxes are a thing of the past in the UK, so now something of a novelty to see.

The number of locks on these doors made me chuckle.

This Ice Cream Parlour looked like a relic of the 50s

Hand-made tortillas are on offer everywhere.

The Baroque church of Santo Domingo had the most amazing side chapel.
